UFC CEO Dana White has announced that former Bellator double champion Patricio "Pitbull" Freire will face Aaron Pico at UFC 327, an event taking place on April 11 at Kaseya Center in Miami. This fight has been a long time coming, with both fighters seemingly destined for a Bellator showdown.
Freire, with a UFC record of 1-1, will be looking to build on his unanimous decision win over Dan Ige. His previous tiebreaker fight fell through when his opponent, Losene Keita, missed weight, leaving Freire at a disadvantage. Pico, on the other hand, has had a more tumultuous journey, with a 0-1 record in the UFC so far. He signed with Bellator before his MMA debut, and the public has witnessed his highs and lows, growing alongside him.
